Since the inception of our employment program in 2022, Hello Neighbor’s Employment Programs have assisted 50 refugee and immigrant families via employability and other supportive services.

What We Do
Hello Neighbor provides a range of individualized services focused on economic empowerment through employment and overcoming barriers to self-sufficiency.
Services typically include:
- Orientation to employment norms and laws in the United States
- Resume and interview preparation
- Job referrals and application assistance
- Transportation assistance
- Budgeting and household management support
- Interpretation and translation services
- Access to Job Club and weekly Office Hours
- Case management services focused on overcoming barriers to self-sufficiency
In 2024 we will serve Allegheny County and Washington County.
