<article class="content"> <p><img src="/assets/img/mom-baby-distribution_1.jpg" alt="“mom and baby distribution”></p><p>Following the success of our last Distribution Day event, we hosted a second distribution at our office on Wednesday, July 22nd. This event focused on mom and baby essentials, such as diapers, feminine hygiene products, car seats, strollers and more.</p> <p>This distribution event was held at our office and all volunteers, staff, and attendees were required to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines as outlined by Allegheny County.</p> <p>We had 28 families attend and we now have 94 families enrolled in our <a href="https://www.helloneighbor.io/advocate-program">Smart Start for Refugee Moms and Children program</a> to get the essential items needed to make it through this critical time.</p> <p>None of this would have been possible without the help of our amazing partners: <a href="https://www.beverlysbirthdays.org/">Beverly’s Birthdays</a>, <a href="https://www.globallinks.org/">Global Links</a>, <a href="http://www.sisterfriend.org/">SisterFriend</a> and local church groups who donated supplies, and of course our incredible team of volunteers who helped the event run smoothly - from prepping materials to loading up cars for families.</p> <p>Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered and attended this event to make it such a remarkable success!</p> <blockquote> <p>“I don’t know how to thank you for all you did for us.
