Welcoming Week 2024 is happening now! 

Welcoming Week is an annual campaign that celebrates the work in communities to become welcoming places for all, including refugees and immigrants. Throughout Welcoming Week, organizations and communities nationwide bring together neighbors of all backgrounds to build strong connections and affirm the importance of welcoming and inclusive places in achieving collective prosperity.

This year's celebration will be September 13-22, 2024, centered around the theme The Heart of Belonging.

Hello Neighbor is excited to spend Welcoming Week getting to The Heart of Belonging by focusing on the work and impact of our national leadership development program, the Hello Neighbor Network.

The Hello Neighbor Network is a coalition of grassroots organizations working with newly resettled refugees and immigrants in the U.S. We connect nonprofit leaders across the country, provide education, and offer resources to organizations actively diversifying our communities. 

With your gift, the Network can continue its work and connect more organizations across the country. Here are some of the ways your gift will support the Network:

1. Contribute to our annual Convening.
2. Fund Resilience Grants, a membership benefit tailored to foster resilience, responsiveness, and sustained growth in a dynamic environment.
3. Expand on crucial resources such as webinar series, advocacy initiatives, an online library, coaching services, and more.
4. Remote Placement IRC Collaboration: the Network is thrilled to partner with the IRC in supporting 5+ grassroots nonprofit organizations as they carry out refugee resettlement for the first time through the IRC’s remote placement program.
