Standing with refugee and immigrant families in the time of COVID-19

Support In Unprecedented Times

In the midst of this global health crisis, there is so much changing day by day, but one thing that remains the same is our commitment to stand with our newest neighbors as they navigate both the victories and challenges of rebuilding their lives here in Pittsburgh.

From the start of the COVID-19 outbreak in the U.S., our team has been working around the clock to respond to the pressing needs and concerns of the families we serve. The refugee community has been greatly impacted in every way–from their livelihood, mental health in the face of social isolation, and access to computers and internet to support remote learning for their children.

In response to the growing and critical needs we were hearing from our families, we decided to launch the Refugee Assistance Fund, providing direct cash assistance to help meet the most critical needs of families we serve, and COVID-19 Direct Response Distributions to supply families with the materials and resources they needs to navigate this challenging time.
